Seating, Fire & Ice and seatmap

27. Feb 17:24 / Marte Svalastoga

The seating will begin the 1st of March, at 8pm CET, for groups of 30 or more. We've made a simple map where we've shown which areas who are especially cold or noisy.

1st of March, 8pm CET - Groups of 30 or more

3rd of March, 8pm CET - Groups of 10 or more

5th of March, 8pm CET - Seating is open for everyone.

4th of April, 11.59pm CET - Seating will be closed, and you will not be able to change your seat.
If you have not selected a seat you will still be able to do so.

How to pick a seater:

  • Log on to - Choose "The Gathering 2009"
  • Click on "Your Account" - Find the ticket named "The Gathering 2009 ticket", and press the number to the left of it.

  • At this screen you can choose "Pick new seater", and you will get a new screen with a search field.

  • Enter the nick, name or e-mail of the person you want as your seater, click search, and choose the correct person from the list.

  • You have now chosen a seater for your ticket. If you change your mind, or picked the wrong person, you can change this at any given time by repeating the steps above.

Fire & Ice:

The theme this year is Fire & Ice, and we encourage all our participants to be creative with the theme. Additionally, we have chosen to split the hall into two halves - all rows north of the info desk, towards the stage (row 1-34) are Fire-themed, rows 35-72 are Ice-themed.

There will be a lot of noise in the entire hall, but the area around the stage will - at times - be more noisy. This is marked with pink/red around the stage. Since there are a lot of people in the hall at all times, we have to let some fresh air in, which leads to slightly lower temperatures. This will be most
noticable in the areas around the south entrance and the main
entrance. These are marked with blue.
