Game Deadlines!

If you want to participate in the game tournaments remember to sign-up before the deadline.

It's the calm before the storm here at the Game Arena at The Gathering 2012. All the desks are set up and the computers are ready to go, but there's nobody sitting at them yet. All is quiet, but in a few hours everything will be chaos as our tournaments start!

If you haven't already signed up for the tournaments, make sure that you do that as soon as possible before the deadline comes and goes and you miss out on your chance to play! Professional gamers (invited and qualified) are reminded that they still need to sign in for the tournament at the Game:Desk located next to the QPAD stage at the far end of the arena.

This year's BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) Tournaments will kick off this very day at The Gathering, and the deadline for you to register is closing in, so please follow THIS guide and make sure you are checked-in to be able participate, before the deadline for your game:

  • League of Legends: Sign-up closes at 19:00
  • Battlefield 3: Sign-up closes at 19:00
  • Starcraft II: Sign-up closes at 20:00

Please make sure you have everything ready when you come to check-in for the tournaments, and remember that if you play a team game the whole team needs to come to the desk to check-in even if you have a manager.

There are lots of teams playing this year, and it's going to be GREAT! Coming to play in the tournaments at TG12 are well-known teams Lions EK, Dignitas, Team BX3 and Epsilon as well as many other amazing teams. The LoL tournament is shaping up to be quite exciting with 4 invited teams, and the Battlefield 3 tournament will be equally as exciting. The Starcraft tournament is our premiere tournament this year, with players from all over the world competing (Spain, USA, South Korea, Sweden, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Ukraine, Germany and Russia). We also have some amazing casters attending, including the unmistakable crew, and Norwegian casters Kenneth "Kjartan" Gjersdal, Tom-Egil "HoppeH" Fossåskaret, Roger "RogerRus" Rusten and Richard "RiChY" Rørmark.

You can get more information about the tournaments under the game pages -
