This year's creative competitions

The list of this year's creative competitions is here, along with prize information and rules. Find a compo YOU can participate in!

As usual, we will host a vide variety of creative competitions at The Gathering. Our creative competitions are all about creating something amazing with a computer as the main tool, in categories such as music, graphics and programming.

In the music category, we have Freestyle Music, Fast Remix and Executable Music. In Freestyle Music, you make your own track, but in Fast Remix you have to remix a song we give you.

We have quite a few competitions in the Graphics category. Old classics include Freestyle Graphics, Rendered Graphics and MS Paint. New this year is Fast Graphics and Themed Photo Manipulation. We also have a Photo and a Freestyle Video competition.

In the programming category, we have two game development competitions, AI Programming, TG Programming Championship, Small HTML, Useful Phone Utility and Useless Utility. Useless Utility is back by popular request, so get cracking on making something utterly nonsensical!

Demo, Intro and Fast Intro

Last, but not least, we have the competitions that combine the skills of all the above categories. We are of course talking about the traditional demoscene competitions. This year, our compos will be Demo, Intro and Fast Intro.
