Forget about rollerblades and scooters. This year, Kunnskapsparken Hedmark allows you to try the new way of easy travelling. Step on, and ride the Segway Human Transporter here at The Gathering
Every day all participants and visitors of The Gathering have the opportunity to try the Segway bike here at TG. For only 20 kr you get a 3 minutes course in how to ride this bike with a top speed of 25 km/h. If you pass the course you can try the bike again, riding more freely in the course area.
The Stageway is gyro balanced. This means that two gyro-engines are turning around, keeping you on the bike. Your body movements control the bike. Standing on the bike leaning forward makes the bike follow your body movement and therefore drives forward. To break or back you need to lean backwards.If you want to try, just be in the south-end of the ship (where you carried your cargo in at the check-in) between 12pm and 6pm.
