The theme for this year's competition is: "Imagine a world where technology dissolves the boundaries between us". This is a great opportunity to show off your skills, and compete against students from the whole world!
There are 9 categories in the Imagine Cup:
- Software Design (also regional finals for each country)
- Rendering
- Short Film
- Business Plan
- Senior Project
- Web Development
- Information Technology
Prizes range between $8,000 and $25,000 depending on the category. In addition, all participants in Imagine Cup gets Visual Studio .NET 2003 for free (download-based), and the first 10,000 participants that submit a contribution are also rewarded with Office 2003.
The worldwide finals are in Yokohama, Japan, in early August. All finalists are sent to Japan with all expenses covered - so take your first step to Japan and sign up today!
