EFN - THE "MP3 LAW" AND THE GREAT RIGHTS ROBBERY

An update from EFN about the new "mp3-law" and how the international entertainment industry is trying to steal away YOUR rights and access to digital works. The new proposed law is about much more than copying CD's to mp3.
Your rights to own and use music, video, computer games, E-books, CD's, DVD's, mp3 files and many other things are threatened by the lobbying efforts of the entertainment industry.

They work hard, both technically and politically, to obtain special privileges and to eliminate your rights in the process - whether you are a customer or user, or if you are an independent creator or performer. Your rights are being erased both online and on your own machine at home. Which rights do you actually have, and which ones are you about to lose?

Thomas Gramstad and Knut Yrvin from Electronic Frontier Norway (EFN) and Tom Fredrik Blenning Klaussen from the EFN Youth group will host the seminar. EFN is a Norwegian civil liberties organization working to protect and promote important rights and freedoms such as freedom of expression, privacy, the right to access and copy stuff you rightfully own, open standards and open media formats etc.

EFN has been active for over 10 years, and founded a youth organization in 2003.
