Stratosphere is a band composed of the now very well known scene-musician flipside, his friends emPhazer and FreeFall. A quick history-lesson:
It all started in 1996 when flipside first got his hands on Fast Tracker 2. Later on he started to experiment with softsynts such as AXS and Dreamstation. He joined with emPhazer in 1999, formed Stratosphere and started saving up for some real gear. Since then they have, among other things, made the opening ceremony-tune for The Gathering 2002, and performed at The Gathering 2003.
flipside has also made remixes for such groups as Apoptygma Berzerk and Above and Beyond. Stratosphere will be a part of the opening ceremony on wednesday evening - bring your glowsticks, and get ready...
