Morning Talk

After a quick breakfast and a cup of coffee I and my photographer decided to take a stroll among the rows and interview some random persons asking them about what they're doing and what The Gathering means to them.

First we meet Robert Brikk (18) and Audun Frøysland (21) from Drammen . It's Roberts first year here while Audun has been here five times before.

What is The Gathering to you?

Audun: The Gathering is a tradition to me. I like spending each Easter here. The mountain and skiing doesn't measure up to this. It's much more social to be in here!

Robert: It's a very special feeling each time I set my foots into the Viking ship. I sort of disconnect from the outside world and enter a new where there are a lot of people who share the same interest as I have.

What are you doing at The Gathering?

Robert: I chat a lot with friends and play some games. Most of my time is in front of the PC, but I also take some breaks and look at the other activities here.

Audun: I meet old friends who I only meet once a year here at The Gathering. I did some web designing when the network was down earlier. My main interests are music and gfx. Not delivering any contributions this year, but maybe next year.

Further down the row we meet Daniel Svoren (16). Daniel comes from Bærum and this is his first time here at The Gathering.

Daniel is going to participate in the Battlefield game compo later. He and his friends are most gamers and they think it's really fun to be at The Gathering and play against many other good people.
